Earth Day Saturday at Ort Farms

One thing quarantine has helped us appreciate more than ever was the great outdoors. It is our job to protect Mother Nature and that is exactly what Ort Farms is out to do. Celebrate Earth Day on the farm, featuring a farm walk, planting activity, and lessons on environmentally responsible farming practices. A great activity for the kids during our temporary housing in New Jersey stay on Saturday, April 24. Bring your own clean and empty plastic water bottle and learn how to turn it into a greenhouse, then plant a seed to grow at home. Everyone holding a ticket will have a chance to plant a seed, so be sure to have enough empty water bottles for your group.
