DIY Tissue Box Monster

Don’t let the coronavirus stand in your way of your New Jersey Short Term Rental fun! Grab the kids for this easy and fun DIY Tissue Box Monster. A great way to recycle an old tissue box, the kids will love designing their own monsters and crafting their unique creations. All you need is an empty tissue box, pom poms, glue, google eyes, paper, a black marker and paint. First, pull out any plastic lining inside the box and cut an oval around the tissue box hole, this will be for the mouth. Next, paint the outside of the box with white paint to print and the inside with the color of your choice. Once the paint on the outside is dry, paint the outside of the box a color of your choice. Outline the “mouth” of the monster with a black market to make it pop. Now it is time for everyone to use their imaginations! Glue eyes above the whole in whatever size and arrangement you feel this monster will have. Cut teeth out with white paper and glue them inside the mouth to make the monster come to live. Finally, give them some personality with pom poms and your monster is complete!
