One of the best parts of the holiday season is the indulgent desserts. During your stay in our temporary housing rentals in New Jersey, we’ve found a delicious dessert that takes just minutes to make and can be customized in an endless number of ways.
Ingredients needed: 1 package standard Oreos, 1 package regular cream cheese and a bag of chocolate melts (white chocolate optional)
Step 1: Crush Oreos (save 3 for later) into a fine crumb. You can use a food processor if you have one or place them in a large plastic bag and smash them with household items.
Step 2: Mix the Oreo crumbs with the cream cheese. Again you can use a food processor, mixer or mix by hand.
Step 3: Scoop 1 tbps at a time and roll into ball shape and line on a lined cookie sheet.
Step 4: Place truffles in freezer for 15 minutes. In the meantime, crush the remaining cookies up.
Step 5: Melt the chocolate and dip the truffles into the coating. Sprinkle cookie crumbs on to the top or (optional) drizzle melted white chocolate
Step 6: Allow truffles to cool and set.
Step 7: Enjoy!
