Palisades Interstate Parkway

Take that road trip you’ve always been talking about and go on a local tour of the beautiful state of New Jersey. New York City is probably not the best place to be right now. But, by driving along the Palisades Interstate Parkway, a scenic 42-mile ride along the Hudson River from the George Washington Bridge to the Bear Mountain Bridge, you can check out the New York City skyline, as well as the foliage along the river. A great escape from your furnished housing in New Jersey, the route offers three lookout areas, perfect for selfies and views of Palisades, the Hudson River and the New York skyline. You also can take a break from the car and hop out to enjoy some fresh air from Alpine Lookout, State Line Lookout and Rockefeller Lookout.
